Thai boxing or Muay Thai as it is also known as cured my gout. Might seem a bit far fetched but it worked for me. Thai boxing is carried out in bare feet which improves circulation in the feet and ankles considerably. So now I go twice a week and haven't had a flare up in a long while. Yippy
Hello ! 28 M with gout and trying to make my way back to amatuer boxing. i’ve been experiencing big-toe joint pain whenever i try to run on a treadmill or stand straight for that point. im worried that if i start kicking (muay thai) again i will trigger gout attacks/flares. can u share a bit more of your experience?
