I am a 70yr old male and have been diagnosed with gout approx 6mths ago. Only my elbow is affected which becomes inflamed and needs to be drained by the doctor. I have however recently experienced slight tingling in one foot (but no pain). My favourite foods Regular foods include vegetables, salad (esp tomatoes), ham, cheese, fish, seafood (prawns & crab), lamb, a little beef, dates, porridge, figs, nuts, milk and brown bread. I cut out red meat, seafood, red meat and pork and cauliflower as well as red wine and noticed the inflammation reduced. I would appreciate any advice.
